Core Consulting was founded by Brad J. Core & Brenda L. Core in 1992. It was originally started as a company that developed custom computer software for clients. In 1997, this company began offering civil engineering and agricultural engineering design services to our clients as well. In 1999 our offerings were expanded to include land surveying. In 2000, this sole proprietorship was merged with Materials Testing, Inc. and has operated as the engineering and surveying division of Materials Testing, Inc. ever since, known as Core Consulting, A Division of Materials Testing, Inc.
About Us
Materials Testing, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Brad J. Core, P.E., P.S. and Richard B. Waltz. The founders brought with them considerable experience in the construction, testing, inspection, engineering design, surveying, construction layout, project management, and construction management areas. In August of 2017, Richard Waltz retired. Brad & Brenda Core are now the sole owners of Materials Testing, Inc. The experience of the owners is complimented by the vast experience of our employees. With the merger of Core Consulting in 2000, Materials Testing, Inc. is a full service civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, agricultural engineering, and surveying firm. We also provide our clients with structural engineering, project management, construction management, building design, and inspection services.
